Heat treatment specialists celebrate long serving employee

Tipton based Alpha-Rowen have been delighted to mark an employee’s 25 year service to the firm.  The heat treatment specialists are particularly proud of the occasion, as Mick Hill is currently the longest serving employee.   

As Quality Manager at Alpha Rowen, Mick and has acquired vast knowledge and experience of the processes under his control. He has seen thousands of parts come through the company to be heat treated and has been instrumental in setting up the quality system used to control product flow through the factory, ensuring that the very best standards of quality are achieved and maintained.

Mike Leach, Managing Director of Alpha-Rowen said: “Mick has continually been a great asset to the company and his long service is typical of the experience and knowledge that can be found at Alpha- Rowen.  Several more employees are close to celebrating their long service awards in the next couple of years.”

Kevin Rowen, Chairman of Alpha Rowen, presented Mick with gifts including a watch and case of wine, 25 years after Kevin made him his first permanent employee. 

Alpha-Rowen Ltd have a range of furnaces which are designed to Austemper a huge variety of spring steel components to a wide range of specifications and to a very high standard.  They also have equipment dedicated to oil harden and temper small components to a similar high standard. 

The firm has successfully acquired a reputation for fast and flexible turnaround and for providing their well established customer base with technical excellence and high quality heat treatment.
